Segù e Vebster si laureano vice-campioni italiani

Con la seconda vittoria stagionale Luca Segù e Daniel Vebster si sono laureati vice-campioni del Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Sprint di classe GT Cup Pro-Am.

Dopo aver vinto la seconda gara in programma a Monza, l’equipaggio italo-svedese è stato nuovamente tra i protagonisti assoluti anche a Imola, sede dell’ultimo appuntamento della stagione 2023. 

In gara 1 un contatto di Vebster con una vettura di una classe superiore ha portato ad una penalità, che ha relegato il duo Lamborghini in quinta piazza di classe. 

Il riscatto è poi prontamente arrivato nella seconda corsa, in cui Segù e Vebster hanno colto un’altra bella vittoria, la seconda nelle ultime tre gare disputate. I due piloti Cram hanno così chiuso secondi nella classifica di campionato a soli otto punti da un titolo che sarebbe stato comunque ampiamente meritato.

Segù and Vebster become Italian vice-champions

With their second victory of the season, Luca Segù and Daniel Vebster became vice-champions of the Italian Gran Turismo Sprint Championship GT Cup Pro-Am class.

After winning Monza Race 2, the Italian-Swedish crew was once again among the main protagonists in Imola, home to the last round of the 2023 season.

In race 1, a contact between Vebster and a car from a higher class led to a penalty, which relegated the Lamborghini duo to fifth place in class.

Redemption then promptly arrived in the second race, in which Segù and Vebster took another victory, the second in the last three races held. 

The Cram drivers thus finished second in the championship standings, just eight points away from a title that would have been fully deserved.
