Race weekend Formula 4 at Mugello
È andato in archivio il quarto round della stagione 2016 dell’Italian Formula 4 Championship, disputato sul circuito del Mugello. Il team Cram Motorsport si è presentato ai nastri di partenza con la confermata coppia formata da Leonard Hoogenboom e Manuel Maldonado, che hanno proseguito il loro cammino di apprendistato in monoposto. Importante per entrambi aver raggiunto il traguardo in tutte le tre manche, con oltre 30 iscritti ai nastri di partenza.
Hoogenboom ha dato vita una progressione costante nell’arco del weekend: 16esimo al termine di gara 1, in programma sabato, l’olandese si è migliorato domenica chiudendo 15esimo in gara 2 e 14esimo in gara 3.
Bravo a rimediare ad un fuoripista compiuto durante la prima corsa, riuscendo poi a proseguire regolarmente fino alla bandiera a scacchi, il venezuelano Maldonado ha archiviato il fine settimana con il 19esimo posto di gara 2 e il 24esimo di gara 3.
Tutto il team Cram guarda già al prossimo appuntamento del calendario, previsto dopo la pausa estiva sul tracciato di Vallelunga il 10 e 11 settembre.

Hoogenboom showed constant progress during the weekend. On Saturday’s race one the Dutch driver ended in P16, while he improved on Sunday with a race two P15 and a race three P14. Venezuela’s Maldonado had a huge moment on the gravel in race one, but he had the abilities to back on track and taking the chequered flag. Then, he ended 19th in race two and 24th in race three.
All the Cram team staff is ready to prepare the next race meeting, which will take place at Vallelunga on 10th and 11th of September.
