Cram vince ancora ad Imola
Cram Motorsport ha dato seguito alle ottime prestazioni di Misano, vincendo anche nel 2° round dell’Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth, in scena lo scorso weekend all’Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari.
Il team di Erba ha ottenuto due vittorie (una assoluta e una nei rookie) e un altro podio con il torinese Andrea Rosso. I Blue Boys si sono confermati competitivi anche con Mateusz Kaprzyk il quale, nonostante il gap di esperienza, ha colto il suo primo punto in campionato grazie al 10° posto in Gara 3.
A rendere le cose ancor più spettacolari, dopo un sabato di qualifiche già positivo, ci ha pensato il meteo, che ha mescolato pesantemente le carte in Gara 2 con diversi scrosci d’acqua. Questo ha costretto addirittura la Direzione Gara a ritardare lo start della corsa, avvenuto poi sotto regime si safety car.
Andrea Rosso – “Mr Red” si è messo in evidenza già in qualifica, ottenendo il 6° tempo nel primo turno, risultato questo che sarebbe potuto essere ben migliore se non fosse stato per la red flag esposta mentre stava abbassando il proprio rilievo cronometrico, e due volte la 3a piazza sullo starting grid di Gara 2 e Gara 3.
In Gara 1, dopo 30’ densi di duelli, Rosso aveva chiuso 6° – 3° nella classifica rookie – ma una penalità lo ha poi retrocesso 10°. Il pilota con la vettura #77 ha poi cancellato l’amarezza del sabato grazie alla 3a posizione in Gara 2 (valsagli la vittoria tra i rookie) e la vittoria assoluta in Gara 3, giunta al culmine di una prestazione di altissimo livello.
Mateusz Kaprzyk – Alla seconda gara in F4, il polacco ha ottenuto una 14a e una 9a posizione nei 2 turni di qualifica, guadagnandosi la 13a piazza sullo starting grid di Gara 3 grazie al suo secondo miglior tempo del primo turno di prove ufficiali. In Gara 1, a causa di un contatto, Kaprzyk non è riuscito a vedere la bandiera a scacchi, mentre in Gara 2, nonostante le difficoltà legate alla pista scivolosa, è riuscito a giungere a ridosso della top10, tagliando il traguardo 11°. In Gara 3, poi, è arrivato il primo punto al termine di una prestazione estremamente solida.

Gabriele Rosei, Team Manager: «E’ stato un weekend molto proficuo per i colori del team. Andrea ha dimostrato di essere molto maturo, nonostante le difficoltà climatiche di Gara 2 e le numerose interruzioni dovute alla Safety Car in Gara 3. Ha saputo mantenere la calma e ha colto altri due risultati importanti. Ci tengo a sottolineare anche l’ottimo lavoro di Mateusz, abile ad andare a punti già al secondo evento, nonostante la poca esperienza con certe condizioni.»
Cram Motorsport si concentrerà ora sui test in preparazione del 3° round di campionato, previsto al Red Bull Ring il weekend del 13 settembre.

Cram wins again in Imola
Cram Motorsport followed up on the excellent performances at Misano, winning in the 2nd round of the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth, staged last weekend at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari.
The team from Erba obtained two victories (one overall and one in rookies classification) and another podium with Andrea Rosso from Turin. The Blue Boys were also competitive with Mateusz Kaprzyk who, despite the gap of experience, took his first point in the championship thanks to the 10th place in Race 3.
The rain felt before Race 2 made things even more spectacular. This even forced the Race Direction to delay the start of the race, which then started under the safety car regime.
Andrea Rosso – “Mr. Red” stood out already in qualifying, getting the 6th time in the first session, a result that could have been much better had it not been for the red flag displayed while he was lowering his chronometric measurement, and twice the 3rd place on the starting grid of Race 2 and Race 3. In Race 1, after 30 ‘full of duels, Rosso finished 6th – 3rd in the rookie classification – but a penalty then relegated him 10th. The driver with car # 77 then erased the bitterness of Saturday thanks to the 3rd position in Race 2 (which earned him the victory among the rookies) and the overall victory in Race 3, which reached the peak of high-level performance.
Mateusz Kaprzyk – In his second race in F4, the Polish driver obtained a 14th (Race 1) and a 9th (Race 2) position in the qualifying rounds, earning 13th place on the starting grid of Race 3 thanks to his second-best time in the first qualifying session. In Race 1, due to a contact, Kaprzyk was forced to retire, while in Race 2, despite the difficulties linked to the slippery track, he managed to get close to the top 10, crossing the finish line 11th. In Race 3, then, the first point arrived at the end of a solid performance.

Andrea proved to be very mature, despite the climatic difficulties of Race 2 and the numerous interruptions due to the Safety Car in Race 3. He was able to keep calm and achieved two other important results. I would also like to underline the excellent work of Mateusz, able to score point already in the second event, despite his lack of experience with certain conditions.”
Cram Motorsport will now focus on testing in preparation for the 3rd round of the championship, scheduled at the Red Bull Ring on the weekend of 13 September.
