Cram apre la stagione 2024 a Jerez

È scattata da Jerez la stagione 2024 di Cram Motorsport, impegnata nel primo appuntamento della Formula Winter Series sul circuito dell’Andalusia. La squadra italiana ha schierato Flavio Olivieri e Filippo Fiorentino, che come annunciato in precedenza prenderanno parte alla serie invernale in preparazione alla stagione della Formula 4 spagnola.

In un fine settimana caratterizzato dalla pioggia e con ben 38 vetture al via, Olivieri e Fiorentino hanno faticato a trovare il giusto spazio nelle qualifiche condizionate dalle bandiere rosse.

Nel Q1 Olivieri è risultato 13esimo, mentre Fiorentino 34esimo. Nel secondo turno di qualifica il pilota italiano ha chiuso con il 18esimo crono, il brasiliano con il 32esimo.

Olivieri ha poi ottenuto un 14esimo, un 18esimo e un 27esimo posto nelle tre manche in programma. Fiorentino invece ha chiuso rispettivamente 27esimo, 36esimo e 28esimo. 

I due portacolori Cram torneranno in azione già la prossima settimana a Valencia, per il secondo di quattro appuntamenti in programma.

Cram kicks-off season 2024 at Jerez

Cram Motorsport kicked-off season 2024 at Jerez, home of the first round of the Formula Winter Series. The Italian team was represented by Flavio Olivieri and Filippo Fiorentino, who will take part in the 4-round long championship in preparation for the Spanish Formula 4 season.

In a rainy weekend and with as many as 38 cars at the start, Olivieri and Fiorentino struggled to find their place in qualifying, which was affected by red flags.

In Q1 Olivieri was 13th, while Fiorentino 34th. In the second qualifying session the Italian driver ended up with the 18th fastest time, the Brazilian with the 32nd.

Olivieri then achieved a 14th, 18th and 27th place in the three races. Meanwhile Fiorentino finished 27th, 36th and 28th respectively. 

The two Cram drivers will be back in action as early as next week in Valencia, for the second of the season.
