È iniziata lo scorso fine settimana con il primo appuntamento della Formula 4 UAE la stagione 2023 di Cram Motorsport. La squadra italiana, vincitrice del titolo piloti della serie invernale nel 2020 con Enzo Trulli, ha preso parte alla tappa inaugurale di Dubai con due vetture per i debuttanti Flavio Olivieri e Seb Murray.
L’obiettivo per entrambi era quello di fare esperienza e di crescere nel corso del fine settimana e, nonostante un piccolo incidente di percorso per il pilota romano, entrambi sono riusciti nell’impresa.
Olivieri ha infatti reagito con carattere dopo essere stato vittima innocente dell’errore di un altro pilota, che lo ha costretto alla resa in gara 1. Domenica ha tagliato il traguardo delle due corse rispettivamente in 26esima e 18esima posizione. Murray a propria è riuscito a cogliere il proprio miglior risultato in gara 3, in cui è risultato 26esimo su 39 vetture presenti.
Il prossimo appuntamento della Formula 4 UAE è in programma il 27-28 gennaio presso il nuovo circuito del Kuwait.

Cram Motorsport kicked-off season 2023 in Dubai
Cram Motorsport kicked-off season 2023 with Round 1 of Formula 4 UAE. The Italian outfit, which won the series’ drivers’ title in 2020 with Enzo Trulli, took part in the inaugural round in Dubai with two cars for the rookies Flavio Olivieri and Seb Murray.
The goal for both drivers was to gain experience and improve over the course of the weekend and, despite a small incident for the Italian rider, they succeeded in the feat.
Olivieri managed to come back well after being the innocent victim of another driver’s mistake, which forced him to retire from race 1. On Sunday he crossed the finish line of the two races in 26th and 18th position respectively. Murray on his own managed to get his best result in race 3, in which he finished 26th out of 39 cars.
The next round of Formula 4 UAE is scheduled for 27th-28th January at the new Kuwait circuit.
